I've never tried french food before, so as a first timer this was good. Important!! Please make a reservation! This place is popular :) Cozy little spot. The seating is almost elbows to your neighbors. If you don't mind your personal bubble a little tighter, then you should be ok to make friends with other tables ;) The Food... savory, salty, seasoned well deliciousness! We started with the Assiette de charcuterie: chef's selections of 8 house-made artisan cured meats, sausages, pates and terrines with cornichons and mustard. We went with the grand for $24.00. Nos Plats: Bavette grillee, Demi-glace, bleu cremeux, blette aux vin rougue et frites (grilled skirt steak with bleu cheese cream and fries)- amazing!! My husband was in food heaven. Poitrine de canard, patate douce et celeri-rave, castelfranco, gastrique aux airelles (oven roasted duck breast with a sweet potato and celery root pave, and a huckleberry sauce) I did my food happy dance :) It reminded me of eating something from Ratatouille.. if you know- you know ;) Desserts: we shared the chocolate mousse it's big enough for two. Ask your server about the wine. if that's your jam. I wasn't familiar with the list so it was helpful to know what paired well with our food choices. I forget the bane of my wine but it's similar to a pinot noir. I recommend to park in a nearby parking garage and walk to the restaurant. We like the Market place garage on Lenora & 1st. Hope this is another foodie experience on your list!

We are visiting from MA and this place was amazing! Marcel, our server, was absolutely wonderful and the food was spectacular. It was one of the best duck breasts I've ever had. Highly recommend Eating and drinking here.

Le Pichet was recommended by a local friend when I visited Seattle for work. She ended up taking me out, and we had one of the best meals throughout my trip. I always love me a local, rustic, warm and cozy food place, and they serve authentic French cuisine with a northwest twist. Service was the best here. Everyone was happy ans friendly. We got ourselves an assortment of pate, onion soup, and seared duck breast. I'm a fan of pate so I couldn't help myself. I had one of the best chicken liver pate here at Le Pichet. It was so livery, creamy, so so good that I ended up getting more AND togo more back to my hotel. Onion soup was packed with flavors as well. Nice sear on the duck, really tender. They also surprised me with a Basque Cheesecake for my birthday, and it was also really good. This was easily one of the best French restaurants I've been to, and I highly recommend when you visit Seattle.

Wonderful casual French bistro on 1st ave a few blocks from Pike Place Market. The Croque Madame was perfect - tasty bread and broiled cheese. I'll have this here again next time. Their salads were well-dressed and had a generous amount of yummy toppings (Gorgonzola chunks, candied walnuts, figs). French onion soup was "4 out of 5" per my partner - recommended, very good, and worth having again.

Came here after The Pink Door was full and had a nice experience! The place had a chill vibe, and they gave us complementary bread and butter before our main dishes. We ordered a steak cooked medium rare and a salad--both were pretty decent. Overall, enjoyed the meal!
